OpenEdition e-books (mostly French-language. Trial to 17 May)

This platform collects together a large number of ebooks mainly in French but also in other languages including English, Spanish and Italian across the Humanities and Social Sciences which may be read online. The e-book search may be refined by parameters including subject, author, discipline or topic and any combination of these. French language and literature are only one among the subject areas available. 80% of the e-books on the platform are available on open-access. Any feedback to nick.hearn@bodleian.ox.ac.uk

OpenEdition Journals (mostly French-language. Trial to 17 May)

This platform offers a wide range of journals across the Humanities and Social Sciences mostly in French but in other languages (including English and Spanish) as well. The French-language journals are from the open-access journal provider revues.org. Journal titles may be searched by various parameters including subject category, theme and language or any combination of these. Archivo Histórico de Revistas Argentinas

AHIRA is a collection of historical journals from Argentina which track the cultural development of periodical literature. Created by academics from the University of Buenos Aires, the collection includes titles such as Martín Fierro, Revista Multicolor de los Sábados, El Escarabajo de Oro, Crisis and El Ornitorronco. Parts of the site may still be under construction.
